How to deal with your first job.....

When you have your first job you're going to feel a little out of place, over whelmed, and singled out. Of course everyone in the work place is going to know one another and have friendships and your job is to build friendships and get everyone to like you.

How to do that....
For starters you must remind your boss why they hired you. Be the person you were at your interview. Commit to being determined and try your best to learn everything there is to know.
To get your coworkers to like you, you should just act normal with them, get to know them, and DO NOT be the coworker who doesn't work!

Now when it comes to actually doing the job and making sure you're doing everything right.... just remember that it is okay to make mistakes and ask allot of questions. It's actually really great to ask questions rather than just assume you're doing a great job.

As far as your attitude goes, always be ready to go, positive, and the helpful coworker that others can depend on. Don't go into work complaining about the day because you'll just make everyone wish you didn't work there. Always be very helpful with customers and make sure you're doing your job, making their visit enjoyable. One way of knowing a customer really appreciated your help is when they thank you on their way out.

Doing these simple things can get you noticed in a positive way and put you on the right track.
