Sephora Play Beauty Box

How many of you shop at Sephora and are beauty members?

Well, I know I am. I love Sephora because you get points with every dollar you spend, they give samples out, and you can go in for a make up lesson any time.
For those of you who do not know Sephora has a new monthly beauty box subscription called Play. For just $10 a month you can get 6 beauty samples, and sometimes they are full sized products. With the samples, you can go online to watch the monthly updated videos that are based off of the samples in the Play box, teaching you how to use them.
As of now this subscription is so high in demand that you have to get on a waiting list.
I went on and it did not take too long for me to get off, but once I got off I realized I was not all that interested. However, for those of you who love trying new things but are too busy to go find new things to try, this box is perfect for you. Want new samples at your door every month? Then get on that waiting list.

"I'm back and I'm better"

So I have been M.I.A. for almost 3 years! The reasons why I have been gone are 1. I got busy with school and work, 2. I lost my log in information, and 3. I just sort of forgot about blogging.

Update:
There are so many new things. I mean, there better be considering it has been three years! for starters, I am finally transferring to a university to finish up my undergrad as a psychology major.I am so thrilled because I am halfway there. I will be 22 soon and I am still with my boyfriend, Daniel. Pretty soon we will hit our 5 year anniversary (June 24th). Daniel and I have done a little traveling since. Our biggest and most memorable trip being to Europe. We got two dogs within the last two years. One last BIG thing, we're moving in together. We get the keys in just 5 days and will officially be moved in by the 19th. So scary/ exciting.

So, I really hope to come back to blogging and stick to it. Even if it is just once a week.
Below you guys can see some pictures of my travels and my beautiful dogs, Chowder and Jax.

Back to School

Quick advice...
for those of you who are college students and need to find your books I highly recommend doing online shopping before running to your school book store.

Sites like:
are great sites to rent/buy books.

I personally recommend renting the book unless you are certain you know you will be able to sell the book for greater value than you paid. This is actually my first year renting books and the quality of them is far greater than buying a used one, which is the likely thing that students end up doing.

Right now I bought a book from amazon, and rented the other three off of Half.com, which promised I would get free shipping to return them.
So I have to wait until December to see if the whole free shipping thing is as easy and the site makes it seem. I got free shipping and it took a little over a week for my books to get here. The only reason why I am not entirely upset about the time frame is because the books look brand new.

If you know of any other awesome sites that have great deals for renting/ buying books, please feel free to share.

Primer Review

So a while back ago I bought this primer/ sunscreen at Ulta, and I love it. The sales lady suggested I give it a try and told me it is one of the best primers out there. So I decided to buy it, and I am so glad I did.
It is so sensitive on the skin you would never know it is there. It feels really amazing when applying, and you can put on make up right after.
The reason why I love this product so much is because it is a two in one, a primer and a sun screen, my face is being protected while making my make up look better.

The product has a brown tint to it but...
as you can see if fades into your skin.

Divine.ca

So my mom told me about this site she came across called Divine.ca which offers allot of information for women with health and daily life. She showed me the health tab which leads to what I want to share with you all.......the exercise page!! On it you will see an image of a  girl with little circles on her body.
You can click those circles which are on body parts, clicking on them will lead to a page that offers a bunch of exercises that focus on that certain area of the body.

Here is the homepage to the site.

First you want to click on the Health tab and then on Exercise Finder.

This is where you will find the image of the girl, but I guess it does not work for an ipod :(
Well for the body part I clicked Butt.

So here are the various types of work outs that focus on  your butt.

♥I hope this helps make finding new work outs easier and motivates you all to get moving.♥

Colored Contacts

So I have always wanted to try colored contacts out because I just think it's nice to be able to add some change, without it being permanent. So I went to this clothing store by my house and got some.
Before I put them in I did a little research and read/ saw that I needed to do/know a few things to protect my eyes.

To do and know

  1. Buy Solution
  2. Buy a Case
  3. Make sure not to switch off the contacts from one eye to the other. (The ones used for the left eye should continue to be used for the left eye. Same for the right.)
  4. Always wash your hands before handling the contacts.
  5. Always rinse the contact with solution before inserting it into the eye.
  6. Always change solution when placing it back in the case.
  7. Do not to wear contacts for longer than 12 hrs, and do not sleep with them on.

Directions on how to insert the contact into your eye.
Make sure it is bowl shaped, not with the edges spilling over.
Each contact came in it's own container.
But before I placed them into my eyes I rinsed them off with the solution I bought.
This is the solution and case I bought. Just some simple cheap stuff at Wal-Mart.
The ending result, just a slight difference.

GYPSY WARRIOR

Gypsy Warrior is a super cute clothing store.
I really love the style and everything they have. Personally, I have not bought anything from them only because their clothes is a little outta my price range.(I love shopping for super low prices) But you guys should check them out.

Their prices really are not bad, but I would just rather pay half the price for most of these items below. I really, really love the dress in the top right corner.

San Diego trip

My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship, and after two years I finally got the perfect
opportunity to visit him.

Balboa Park

There was this little pond with a bunch of little fish, lily pads, and turtles.

We rented this cute bike. But the bike path was not going through the park like we thought. Instead we were only allowed to go through the entrance of the park and in PARKING LOTS!
So once our hour with the bike was up we were more than happy to return it.
